Campfire by Tront

Campfire is a small third place in the browser. Open the link, stand on a curved island around a firepit as a little critter, and walk up to whoever else is there. There is no install, no account and no lobby: the link itself is the room, and everyone who opens it shares the same island over peer-to-peer WebRTC.

Under the hood every entity on the island is synced with a keeper election, so NPCs keep moving even when the person who spawned them leaves. It is one HTML file built on the critters creature system, verified with a headless harness, made by Tront (Trent Sterling).
