BUTTLOADS 2 is a free first-person digging prototype. You start with a small backyard claim and a weak cutter, expose copper, iron and crystal, haul it to the hopper, sell, and upgrade the cutter, the bag and the scanner until you can reach the signal buried deep under the yard. The ground is fully editable, so every tunnel is yours.
It is built on the same Surface Nets terrain as Terrain Lab, in one HTML file with no install. Made by Tront (Trent Sterling) with AI coding tools; it is an honest prototype rather than a finished game, and it is up because shipping in public is the whole point.
