An independent experiment. These creators inspired the direction; they are not collaborators or endorsers. No code, meshes, textures, or sound assets from their games are included here.
Development & technology
AI-assisted development under Trent Sterling’s direction, with iterative playtesting and visual review. Building meshes, inhabitants, sounds, and shaders are generated in this project.
The default renderer is embedded WebGL2. No installation, account, or remote assets are needed to play. The optional ?backend=three adapter loads Three.js r180 from a CDN; that path is not part of the validated offline build. Three.js / authors / MIT license.
Neighbour rules build the architecture; this is not a reconstruction of the reference games’ private algorithms. Public reading: Miniopolis public breakdown · Oskar Stålberg’s tile-based towns talk · Maxim Gumin’s WFC reference. WFC was background reading, not a runtime dependency.
Save files use the tinyrise-building and tinyrise-city format IDs. JSON and GLB identify the software creator; they do not assign authorship of your building to someone else.
