Real combat and casualties by default. Invincibility keeps the clash going but produces no new death stains. Large presets are workloads, not FPS promises.
Normal campaign keeps your earned research. Demo defense is a separate cheat run: every sector and Titan is available without changing that save.
Demo defense earns no research, clears or saved kills. Your normal campaign save stays untouched.
Session-only tools. Enabling a cheat makes the rest of this campaign run practice-only; already banked progress stays.
These switches do not resurrect dead units or rewind a defeat. Use Restart as demo defense for a fresh, protected army. Turning cheats off does not make this run eligible for rewards again.
A timed test on your GPU. Three seconds of warm-up, then a measured battle. No campaign rules or permanent upgrades.
Real combat loses bodies; constant population is a different workload and is labeled in the report. Camera, speed and settings lock during a capture. Tab hiding, resizing, pausing or mode switching cancels it. Export includes frame-time percentiles, GPU timings when available, actual speed, populations, resolution and adapter details.
Higher speed runs more fixed combat ticks, not larger physics steps. The speed readout shows what this device actually completes. Large armies at 50× can be hardware-limited.
Defend the core through four waves in each sector. Spend salvage from kills on reinforcements, choose a reward after each clear, and use research between attempts. Clear Timberline to recruit Titans. The separate Sandbox keeps the 100,000–200,000-dude battles. Rupture only hurts enemies.
Showing friends? Open Play / Sandbox and press Send 200,000 dudes. Everything is available immediately. The Benchmark tab records a timed test; Cheats can protect your army and core without changing saved progression.
Combined arms mixes melee, armor, runners and ranged units. Classic melee keeps the original equal-stat fight. Ranged clash is all Lancers versus Spitters. The Outnumbered preset gives your side no hidden stat bonus.
Base stats shown here; campaign research and salvage choices modify your current army. Recruitment is on the bottom command strip.
The actual in-game atlas. Eleven roles, eight directions and ten poses per role. Original Mauler and Vanguard shapes retained.
Hold the core, turn kills into reinforcements, and unlock bigger answers to the Brood. Or take an unreasonable army straight to the mass-battle sandbox.
GPU compute drives movement, targeting, body contacts, projectiles and damage. Sprites are baked at startup, then drawn in batches. A three-sector defense campaign and a separate mass-battle sandbox share the same GPU simulation. Large bodies use their own grid level. Persistent blood is stamped into a fixed-size terrain layer, not kept as extra physics objects.
Built on Tront's BIOMASS crowd experiments. Inspired by mass-horde defense games including Crown Siege and Sir, We Have an Orc Problem. Independent project, no affiliation and no assets from those games.
Original procedural art and code developed with AI assistance. MIT license. No analytics, accounts, external game assets or runtime downloads. Research, sector clears and settings stay in this browser when storage is available. Export saves from Upgrades. An unfinished run is not saved.

Survivors regroup and heal between waves. Salvage stays for the run. Research and sector clears survive defeat.
Permanent research applies to your next run. First clear of Timberline unlocks Titan recruitment.
SEND DUDES is a free browser siege game where the numbers are the point: two hundred thousand fighters on screen at once, every one of them simulated and drawn on the GPU with WebGPU compute. Outnumbered? Send dudes. Hold the core through three sieges, spend the kills on reinforcements, unlock Titans, and watch the frontline turn into blood that stays on the ground.
It grew out of BIOMASS, an earlier GPU crowd experiment, and keeps the same rule: no CPU fallback, so it needs a desktop browser with WebGPU. It is one HTML file with no install, made by Tront (Trent Sterling) with AI coding tools and a headless GPU test harness that checks the 200k showcase runs at speed before every release.
