I made a pachinko machine covered in pizza toppings. Drop a ball in and watch it bounce through pepperoni, olives, mushrooms and onions while the score goes up.
The toppings wobble when things hit them, with particles, screen shake and sound going along with the impacts. A lot of the work here is in how each little bounce looks and sounds.
It’s a small vanilla JavaScript game using Canvas 2D, with its own collision checks. The toppings are drawn directly in code, so there aren’t any topping sprites to load.
